Peek a Boo | Scrappy Canary

Hey Scrappy Friends
Today Im sharing a new layout for Scrappy Canary using the January Scrapbook kit Andy

This kit has so many awesome products jam packed into it! The colours are perfectly mixed for any style of scrapbooking. I especially love the Die cut pack, had to stop myself from using it all on one page!

The photos Ive chosen to share on this layout are of my usual subject, doing the usual, being cute and uncooperative all at once lol

I started the page with some triangular strips of the Fancy Pants 'All Positive' paper in the corners, and sewed them down using straight and zigzag stitches

Ive layered my photos with some vellum, a piece of the reverse side of 'My Happy' paper and a few mini doilies, then made groups of embellishment clusters from the Die cut pack

These feathers are so pretty! Its a shame they only put a few in the pack as I want to put them on everything!

Lastly the title, it definitely was a Peek a Boo moment!

Thanks so much for stopping by today

Cut & Paste | D-lish Scraps

Hello!! Im back today with my last share for D-lish Scraps this month
And I've stepped out of my pretty pink bubble again lol

Today its all about documenting Leila, enjoying her craft time, just like her Mum

I started with a pre-prepared background, made with a Scrap Fx stencil, whipped spackle and some red water coloured ink splotches. The page had warped so much I had to matt it onto the black text paper, then some heavy chipboard. Ive added some printed bag tops and then sewed around the edges

I've embellished the page with some Minifetti stripsD-lish Flairshaped wooden buttonsan arrow paper clip, a paper flowerenamel shapes and some dyed wooden buttons (which are now on clearance)

I mixed my title up by using some old Heidi Swapp alpha's and some Wooden letters from the D-lish store

Thanks so much for stopping by today, thats all for my D-lish shares this month

You Make Me Happy | D-lish Scraps

Hi Scrappy Friends!!
I'm back today with another layout share for D-lish Scraps, and I've bought a page load of pink with me!!

Like yesterday I wanted to try something different and challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone. So for this layout, I decided to use no white cardstock and no favourite big doily

I chose some photos of Leila being all cutesy at the supermarket checkout, she loves making faces in the mirrors! Ive teamed them with some pattern papers from a past Dear Lizzy collection, and scattered clusters of D-lish goodies around the page

You can see I did sneak in a couple of mini doilies from the D-lish store, couldn't help myself!

Heres some close ups of the D-lish clusters..

I've used some glitter paste on the Memory maze chipboard word to add some extra sparkle to the journal card, and layered in a minifetti strip to the bottom

Embellishments Ive chosen for this page include Paper flowersDusty Attic Page Pebblesresin flowersJournal It'sMinifettiD-lish Enamel shapes, star PunchinellaD-lish Flair, and a glitter heart which is sadly no longer stocked

Thats all from me today, sharing my last layout for D-lish this month, right here tomorrow morning

Thanks again for stopping by

#lifeisgood | D-lish Scraps

Hey Everyone!
Can you believe we're already into the 2nd month of the year?? Crazy!!

Today Im sharing a layout for D-lish Scraps that put me completely out of my comfort zone.. I challenged myself to scrap something other than Leila, and without the colour pink (insert screwed up face emoticon lol)

I decided on a photo of our new house, and a fun blue, white and yellow colour scheme. I did manage to slip in a doily, and a touch of sparkle
I know I say it EVERY time, but I LOVE how it turned out! Super simple design which could easily be scrap lifted - please share if you do, I would love to see what you create.

To recreate you will need :
- a strip of pattern paper, the piece Ive used is approx 5.5 inch wide.
- a strip of glitter paper or another pattern paper/ piece of punchinella will work just as well
- strips of washi tape
- vellum
- date stamp & ink
- ink to splatter

I added some blue glitter paste to some of the chipboard pieces from Dusty Attic & Memory Maze to give them some colour, and to make them sparkle.

To make the words stand out on the chipboard piece, I coated the entire thing in glitter paste, then scraped the top off as it was drying

Thanks so much for stopping by today, more to share tomorrow
